Check Out BOB Yak Trailer In Black for $299.00

BOB Yak Trailer In Black Review

This trailer is awesome. I have a 2-wheeled cargo trailer that I've used around town, but for multi-day bike trips this one is way more efficient and fun to use. Sure setting the bike up when you stop takes a bit of practice (since the whole rig will tip with only the one wheel on the trailer), but you'll get used to this very soon. The ultimate in bike travel trailer, I think!

BOB Yak Trailer In Black Feature

  • Chromoly steel tubing with engineered gussets
  • 70lb/32kg weight capacity
  • 2 water bottle attachments
  • Quick release attaches to bikes up to and including 700c wheels

BOB Yak Trailer In Black Overview

The Yak bicycle cargo trailer was BOB's original "Beast of Burden" - and it's a packhorse! Back in 1994, the engineers at BOB made the Yak to be a versatile bicycle cargo trailer for serious bikers - and 14 years later, it's still going, stronger than ever. The lightweight but heavy-duty chromoly construction ensures strength and durability, and lets you carry up to 70 pounds of gear - whether it's for touring, commuting, or riding single-track. The trailer is easy to attach, and the Yak's single wheel tracks directly behind your bike's rear wheel - preventing it from becoming a hazard in any situation. The Yak's open frame design can adapt to many types of cargo, and the trailer is easy to attach to and detach from your bicycle, thanks to the patented quick-release hitch. Model differences: BOB Yak - Yak trailer Only (no Dry Sak) BOB Yak Plus - includes Dry Sak BOB Yak 28 - extra long fork - originally designed for European bikes with 28 " wheels. Also works well with for bikes with wrap-around fenders with reflectors. BOB Yak 28 Plus - All the features of the normal Yak 28, but Dry Sak is also included. BOB Yak Santana - extra wide fork - Designed to be used on Santana Tandems or tandems with 160mm dropout spacing.

Cooking BBQ Ribs Recipe Pit Boys Country Style

Here at the Pit, we call them "Jacks Ribs" but typically they are known as Country Style Pork Ribs. They are simple to grill and a great recipe to have on hand if you need a quick and easy meal hot off the BBQ grill. Although most Ribmen describe this cut of meat more as a "chop" than a "rib", the pork industry prefers to call them Ribs. So Ribs they are! All you need to get started is 4-5lbs. Country Style Pork Ribs, 3 -18oz. bottles of your favorite barbecue sauce, 12oz. beer (or water will do). Get your charcoal grill good and hot and in about an hour you'll be serving up delicious, moist and tender Barbecue Pork Ribs. You can print out this BBQ Pit Boys recipe at www.BBQPitBoys.com ---

Cycling In Lanzarote

Once you have flown into Lanzarote Arrecife Airport and arrived at your holiday destination you might decide to spend some of your holiday exploring this beautiful island in a leisurely fashion by hiring a bicycle.

The lack of high peaks on Lanzarote makes it quite easy to explore the island on a bicycle and the regional government have set up the Plan de Rutas Cicloturísticas detailing a series of routes and trails to enabling cyclists to enjoy touring the island.

If you are a keen cyclists and want to give yourself the challenge, there is a recently completed 205km cycle track which is divided into six sections and aimed at mountain bikers (given the terrain).

The longest and most demanding section is 46km in length and stretches between the whitewashed village of Arrieta, around the northern tip of the island to Ye which is a sleepy village slightly inland. Most of the route sticks close to the coast, turning inland to negotiate the Timanfaya National Park.

Because the sometimes demanding terrain and year-round warm climate provide perfect practice and training

conditions for amateurs and professionals you will regularly see many international athletes training on Lanzarote's challenging hills with The Ironman and Tres Islas events attracting the more serious cyclists.

There are cycle routes on Lanzarote for cyclists of all abilities ranging from flat runs from the edge of Papagayo with its beautiful beaches to Faro Park in the west, to a more strenuous climb up to the mountains of Femes. You will also find plenty of cycle paths in Playa Blanca town

If you are out for the day on the bike, head towards Timanfaya National Park on the LZ 67 and over Fire Mountain where the scenery is spectacular. Drop down the other side towards Mancha Blanca and Tintajo and head down towards La Santa or head back down the LZ20 to San Bartolome.
